Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat for a few minutes. Once warm, add the garlic and cook until it is fragrant and sizzling.
Preheat the grill for medium-high heat. Brush the yellow squash/zucchini slices with the garlic-infused olive oil and place oil slide down on the grill. Brush the other sides with the remaining oil and grill for 5-10 minutes per side, or until zucchini/yellow squash is soft. Remove from grill and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
